About Me

Hi, my name is Jalaysia Edwers. As a copywriter with over five years of freelance experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and African American Studies from Rutgers University, I’ve discovered that words are powerful tools that do more than just communicate—they connect, inspire, and drive action. From an early age, writing captivated me; while my peers used chalk to create images, I transformed sidewalks into colorful canvases filled with my thoughts and phrases. This early passion fueled my journey, leading me to graduate from the Copywriting Program at One School, a well-known portfolio school, where I learned to craft compelling narratives and effectively combine creativity with strategy.

In my role as a Copywriter and Content Strategist, I have produced captivating copy and content for various brands. At BrownMill Company, I increased audience engagement by 60% and significantly boosted conversion rates. Additionally, I developed and executed digital marketing campaigns that led to a 53% increase in customer conversions, driving notable sales growth. When I’m not writing or cultivating my craft, you can find me exploring the latest beauty and fashion trends (currently obsessed with cherry red flats) or losing myself in a compelling novel.
